The cast and crew of Eclipse took over Vancouver sushi restaurant Miku over the weekend to celebrate filming of the third Twilight installment – and all eyes were on costars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

The two were very close during dinner, taking smoke breaks together and even leaving together.

On Saturday, they snuggled at a Kings of Leon concert — when they weren’t laughing and smoking cigarettes.

“They’ve decided to be more public about going out now,” an insider tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now). “They’re not boyfriend and girlfriend, but they’ve definitely hooked up.”

Their Twilight costars are supportive.

“If they want to date each other, fine!” Billy Burke, who plays Stewart’s dad, tells Us. “Look, when you’re that age, you’re going to make mistakes. You’re going to date people you probably shouldn’t date. It’s all part of the growing process.”

Miley Cyrus once said she was “not a huge Rob Pattinson fan.”

But after meeting the Twilight hunk at the Teen Choice Awards this weekend, she’s changed her mind.

“Gave a hug to Rob Pattinson today,” the Disney star, 16, wrote on Twitter Sunday (the show aired Monday). “OK girls, I get it now. So cute. Sorry ‘Robby’ ’bout all my bashing in my past.”

In April, Cyrus told Teen Vogue, “I’m not a huge Rob Pattinson fan. Girls aren’t really in love with Rob; they’re in love with [his Twilight character] Edward.”

The third Twilight flick, Eclipse, begins production in Vancouver Aug. 17.

Robert Pattinson was clipped by a cab Thursday in Manhattan, but he was unharmed.

The 23-year-old actor, who is currently shooting the drama Remember Me, was leaving a bookstore when a crowd of teenage girls began gathering around him.

As rain poured down, a team of five security guards tried to rush the star back to his trailer, but the girls “were hysterical,” forcing Rob to dash across the busy street, RadarOnline reports.

A cab then slightly grazed Pattinson as the driver slammed on the brakes.

According to Radar, Pattinson, who walked away from the accident uninjured, looked stunned and a bodyguard yelled: “You see what you did, you almost killed him!”

But a spokeswoman for the Summit film production company tellsUsmagazine.com: “Rob Pattinson is fine. The reports are exaggerated, and it was not caused by fans.”

Wizards of Waverly Place Star Selena Gomez says that she and Taylor Lautner are “dunzo”. Reports have been confirmed that she and the ‘New Moon’ cutie are done.

Selena: “He’s one of my good friends.” Then went on to say, “I’m single, definetly single.”

They ended the relationship because they were both just too busy. Yeah I guess Taylor being in one of the most anticipated sequels of the year can be time consuming.

When Selena was asked who was her favorite ‘Twilight’ star, she answered, “I’d have to say Robert Pattinson.” She told Us Magazine.

Seems like we’re not the only ones having trouble deciding what side we’re on. I hope Taylor doesn’t take it personally.

The two Twilight stars were caught having dinner with some of the production crew in Italy while filming the sequel to Twilight, New Moon.

The costars, who are rumored to be romantically linked, were caught in this photo with some people from the movie set at a restaurant near Montepulciano. Robert and Kristen will be filming the sequel in Italy, or have started already, on May 4th. The restaurant is 115 miles north of Rome in this lovely city and they both look great by the way.

Last Tuesday, the first poster for the most anticipated sequel of the year, was posted on the web.

The promotional shot shows Pattinson, Stewart and Taylor Lautner (currently dating Selena Gomez) brooding in a dark forest.

The stars will present the first clip of the vampire sequel at the MTV Movie Awards at the end of this month.

The clips have never been seen before and will sure to be a big hit when it comes out in November.
